Remember when we opened a little vintage shop in the west side? It was so much fun to curate our vintage and historical collections with some of the most interesting garments and accessories we could find through our travels around the world. We filled up our first shop with unique finds in our favorite categories like vintage military, western, hunting, riding, racing and other classic styles.
In time, we added a great collection of preowned classic and modern luxury designer garments and accessories unknowingly creating a combination of quality, form and function.
People loved our hyper curated vintage style as, for the very first time, you could find rare, obscure and exclusive brands and styles for men never seen in Atlanta before.
Dealing with hundreds of quality brands and styles of clothing on a daily basis, and after years of studying and learning from the best samples, in 2017 we launched our own private label with a very small collection of classic staples including our very successful version of the safari jacket.
In the same year, we also launched our made to measure suiting program inspired in the most elegant styles of the 1940's through 60's and even 70's eras.
Our romantic relationship with rare vintage and historical garments has grown strong throughout the years. In 2019 The Tough Boot & Co. became The TBCo. Heirloom Quality and, we took on the quest of finding the best heritage and classic brands available to keep a full collection in stock all year round. This gave us the oportunity to offer the same quality classic garments and styles people loved, but now in more variety and size options.
Since those days we have partnered with amazing heritage brands like Pendleton, Schott, Stetson, Harris Tweed and Loake Bros. and our little shop has grown into a great place where men can find the most iconic and classic styles and get inspired to curate their personal style. Wheather you are looking for a rare vintage buckle, a classic leather jacket or a custom suit, The TBCo. provides an experience like no other store in the world.

About Luis Toache
Luis Toache, The owner of The Tough Boot & Co. Started developing the concept in 2004. His initial idea has evolved with every piece he has acquired for his private collection which has been salvaged from almost every city he visits in the world.
A seasoned Artist and Art Consultant he has been trained and submerged in the art and design world for over two decades. Men’s fashion is something he was introduced at a very young age by his father who was an avid style enthusiast and serial enterpreneur.
Making the transition from Fine Art to fashion happened very naturally. “As an artist, I will never stop creating”. And men’s fashion just adds a whole new dimension to the creative endeavors. “It truly makes me happy to meet people that enjoys fashion and gets so excited when they discover this world of inspiration I have put together for them”.

Roy Toache's vast experience in finance, procurement of consumer goods and deep interest for men's fashion, makes up for an exceptional and powerful combination. Joining The Tough Boot & Co. team in 2014, Roy has brought a new vision and amazing possibilities for brand development. Aside from his impeccable taste and style, Roy has been a crucial piece of the puzzle by not only holding the back end, but also contributing to gradually develop this rare concept.
About Marketa Holanova
When it comes to sensibility and intuition, Marketa steps up to the plate and knocks it out of the park. Although her stronghold is Architecture, her absolute domination of the social media world and incredible eye for aesthetics landed her as our digital marketing and social media Manager.
Marketa, Originally from Moravia, in the Czech Republic, graduated from Prumyslova Skola Stavebni (School of Engineering and Construction) in Ostrava, CZ.
Since 2012 Marketa has been a crucial part in the creation and promotion of The Tough Boot & Co. concept.
